Huellas TIE Las Palmas: where do I give my fingerprints?

At a police office that lists the TIE: Plaza de la Feria 24 in the city, or the Comisaría de Maspalomas and the Comisaría de Santa Lucía de Tirajana in the south.

I am Venezuelan and arrived with a visa. How long do I have?

The TIE request is due within a month of your entry into Spain, so reserve the fingerprint appointment (toma de huellas) as soon as you can.

My wife is Portuguese and I am Senegalese. What do I apply for?

The card for relatives of Union citizens, applied for on form EX-19. Your wife registers first: her green certificate goes into your file.

Extranjería Las Palmas: where are work and residence permits decided?

At the Oficina de Extranjería, Plaza de la Concordia 5 (928 999 260), part of the Delegación del Gobierno en Canarias. Its page names, among others, work and residence authorisations, reagrupación familiar (family reunification), arraigo and long-term residence.

I am British and moved to Mogán in 2019. What should I hold?

You are covered by the Withdrawal Agreement, and your residence is shown on a TIE that mentions it. Still holding just the paper green certificate from before? It can be swapped for the card.

My card expires while I am in Bogotá. What now?

File the renewal before you go if you can. A trip during the renewal needs a return authorisation (autorización de regreso), requested before departure; in Las Palmas it appears at Luis Doreste Silva 68 and at the Oficina de Extranjería.
