Service terms

These terms explain what nielaspalmas.com is, what you can expect from its pages and from us, and where a private service has to stop. Using the site or sending us a message means you agree to them.

The service in a few lines

NIE Las Palmas is an independent, privately run service. It has no link with the Policía Nacional, nor with the Delegación del Gobierno en Canarias and its Oficina de Extranjería, nor with any town hall of Gran Canaria, and it never speaks in their name. Our work is explaining foreigners’ procedures, such as the NIE number, the padrón, the TIE card and the green certificate for Europeans, and helping people prepare them. Only the authorities decide on an application.

Information, not legal advice

What you read here is general information. We check it against the official pages we cite, on the date we write it, but rules, forms and the habits of each office move on, and no general text can take your own circumstances into account. Check the official page once more before any important step, or ask us.

Messages, offers and agreement

Whether it comes through a form or by email, a message from you is simply a question. It does not create a contract, and it costs nothing. If you then want our help, you first receive a written description of the work and its price, and we begin only once you have agreed. We also tell you when a partner firm, rather than us, would handle your request.

Your part

Please give us accurate information and tell us when your situation changes. Read each document we prepare with you before you sign or file it, and attend your appointments in person with the originals.

State fees and results

Official fees are paid to the State (for police procedures, with the Modelo 790, código 012) and are separate from any price of ours. Careful preparation makes an appointment go more smoothly; it does not decide the outcome. We cannot promise a decision, a date or a free slot in the booking system.

Other websites we point to

Some pages point to official websites, others to partner firms; what those sites say, and the conditions they set, are their own responsibility.

Responsibility

We answer for the care we put into our own work. The administration’s decisions and delays are outside our control, as are rule changes made after a page was written, the state of the booking system, and the effects of information that reached us incomplete or wrong.

Law and contact

These terms follow Spanish law. If you are a consumer, the protections of the law where you live still apply to you. Questions about these terms: team@nielaspalmas.com.
